EC214 EC215 • EC215R Multi-Range Conductivity Meters for Laboratories Instruction Manual
This instruction manual covers the EC214 and EC215 series of bench-top multi-range conductivity meters designed for laboratory use. The instruments feature four measurement ranges with high resolution and precision. The EC214 model offers manual temperature compensation, while the EC215 models provide automatic temperature compensation with a user-selectable coefficient.
| Measurement Ranges | 0.0 to 199.9 uS/cm / 0 to 1999 uS/cm, 0.00 to 19.99 mS/cm / 0.0 to 199.9 mS/cm |
|---|---|
| Resolution | 0.1 uS/cm / 0.07 mS/cm |
| Accuracy | 1% FS (excluding probe error) |
| Calibration Method | Manual, single point, through front knob |
| Temperature Compensation (EC214) | Manual, 0 to 50°C with B=2%/°C |
| Temperature Compensation (EC215) | Automatic, 0 to 50°C with B adjustable from 0 to 2.5%/°C |
| Probe Type | Platinum 4-ring sensor |
| Power Supply | 12 Vdc (power adapter included) |
The instrument should be calibrated at least once a month, or when the probe is changed.
It is recommended to use a calibration solution with a conductivity value as close as possible to the sample to be measured.
Tap the probe lightly on the bottom of the beaker to remove any air bubbles trapped inside the sleeve.
