The LMX231523202325 are high performance frequency synthesizers with integrated prescalers designed for RF operation up to 25 GHz
The LMX2315, LMX2320, and LMX2325 are high-performance frequency synthesizers with integrated prescalers designed for RF operation up to 2.5 GHz. They are fabricated using National Semiconductor's ABiC IV BiCMOS process and feature a proprietary digital phase locked loop technique to generate stable, low noise signals for controlling a local oscillator.
These devices are available in a TSSOP 20-pin surface mount plastic package and operate with a supply voltage ranging from 2.7V to 5.5V. Serial data is transferred via a three-line MICROWIRE interface, and the chips feature very low current consumption, with typical values of 6 mA, 10 mA, and 11 mA respectively for the 1.2 GHz, 2.0 GHz, and 2.5 GHz models.
| Maximum Operating Frequency | LMX2315: 1.2 GHz; LMX2320: 2.0 GHz; LMX2325: 2.5 GHz |
|---|---|
| Supply Voltage Range | 2.7V to 5.5V |
| Operating Temperature | -40°C to +85°C |
| Package Type | TSSOP 20-pin surface mount plastic package |
| Power Down Current (Typ) | 30 pA at Vcc = 3V |
| Oscillator Frequency | 5 to 20 MHz |
The typical current consumption for the LMX2315 is 6 mA.
The LMX2325 supports 32/33 and 64/65 divide ratios.
The supply voltage can range from 2.7V to 5.5V.
