Introduces Agilent's Low Thermal Mass (LTM) technology, used in gas chromatography, which improves analysis cycle time.
The Agilent Low Thermal Mass (LTM) Series II System is designed to increase productivity in gas chromatography applications by using an LTM column module that combines a fused silica capillary column with heating and temperature-sensing components. This system is built into a replacement oven door for the Agilent 7890A GC System and is not supported for operation with Agilent 5890, 6850, or 6890 GC systems. It features integrated control via the 7890A GC and Agilent data systems, supporting constant flow mode and real-time display of temperatures and flows.
| Temperature accuracy | 0.1 °C of a reference |
|---|---|
| Maximum temperature ramp rate | + 1,800 °C/min |
| Maximum LTM column length | 30 m |
| Maximum programmable temperature | 400 °C |
| Operating temperature range | 4 °C above ambient to maximum operating temperature of the GC capillary column |
| Ambient operating temperature | 15 to 35 °C |
| Line voltage requirements | 100V-240V, + 10% |
The system is designed to work with the Agilent 7890A GC System and is not available or supported for operation with an Agilent 5890 GC, 6850 GC, 6890 GC or other GC's.
Up to four column modules can be operated simultaneously with different temperature programs.
The 7890A GC requires firmware revision A.01.12.1 or higher.
