This document describes the Markes International Series 2 Air Server, a range of accessories designed to add automated canister and on-line air/gas stream analytical capability to any Series 2 (ULTRA-)UNITY thermal desorption system. The systems operate cryogen-free and offer low gas consumption for lower running costs.

It adds automated canister and on-line air/gas stream analytical capability to any Series 2 (ULTRA-)UNITY thermal desorption system.
The system can quantitatively retain ultra-volatiles from increased sample volumes up to 1.5 L.
The system consumes less than 200 ml/min of dry gas/air when a dryer is configured.
The system automatically sequences calibration gas and zero air/gas at user-defined frequencies, typically once every 24 hours.
