This document describes the use of short, small-particle columns for fast and efficient separations of herbicide mixtures. By using a 3.5µm particle column, similar efficiency can be achieved in a shorter time compared to columns with 5µm particles and twice the length. Additionally, increasing the flow rate on the 3.5µm, 75 mm column further reduces the run-time, with efficiencies nearly equivalent to those of the 5µm 150 mm column run at a slower flow rate.
