NEC NNCD5.6MG to NNCD6.8MG ESD Noise Clipping Diodes Datasheet

This is a low capacitance type diode developed by NEC for E.S.D. (Electrostatic Discharge) protection. This product series is the most suitable for the ESD protection in the high-speed data communication bus such as USB. With four elements mounted in the 5-PIN Mini Mold Package, that product can cope with high density assembling.

About this manual

The document describes the NNCD5.6MG to NNCD6.8MG series of electrostatic discharge (ESD) noise clipping diodes manufactured by NEC Corporation. These devices are designed as low capacitance types specifically for ESD protection in high-speed data communication applications, such as USB interfaces.

Key features include a minimum endurance of 30 kV based on IEC61000-4-2 testing and a typical capacitance of 20 pF. The diodes are packaged in a 5-pin Mini Mold (SC-74A) configuration with four elements mounted as a common anode, allowing for high-density assembly.
