PHILIPS 74LV541 Octal buffer/line driver (3-State) handbook

The 74LV541 is a low-voltage CMOS device and is pin and function compatible with 74HC/HCT541. The 74LV541 is an octal non-inverting buffer/line driver with 3-state outputs. The 3-State outputs are controlled by the output enable inputs OE1 and OE2. A HIGH on OEn causes the outputs to assume a high impedance OFF state.

Frequently asked questions

Is the 74LV541 compatible with other logic families?

Yes, it is pin and function compatible with the 74HC/HCT541.

How are the outputs controlled?

Outputs are controlled by OE1 and OE2 inputs; a HIGH on these inputs causes the output to enter a high impedance OFF-state.
