Frequently asked questions

How is the valve installed?

The valve body is mounted on the back of the controller. Hydrogen inlet and outlet tubes are disconnected, the copper line is removed, and the bulkhead fitting is slid through the valve’s mounting plate. The lines are then reconnected to the valve’s ports.

What voltage does the valve require?

The valve is typically 24 VDC, but Varian GCs use 24 VAC, requiring a rectifier in the electrical line.
