About this manual

The AD588 provides up to five programmable output ranges (+10 V, –10 V, +5 V, –5 V, and tracking modes) with low temperature drift (as low as 1.5 ppm/°C) and very low output noise. It uses a buried Zener diode reference and laser‑trimmed thin‑film resistors, and offers Kelvin‑sense force and sense pins for accurate load driving.

The device is offered in SOIC‑16 and CERDIP‑16 packages, including MIL‑STD‑883‑qualified versions. Detailed specifications cover output voltage error, drift, noise, load and line regulation, supply current, and absolute maximum ratings. Pin‑programmable gain and balance adjustment pins allow fine trimming of output voltage and symmetry.
