The 24XX* family is Microchip's family of electrically erasable programmable read-only memories (EEPROMs) ranging in capacity from 128 bits to 512 kilobits. This series of devices support a 2-wire serial interface organized as x8 memory blocks. The low voltage design allows operation down to 1.8V (for 24AAXX devices), with typical standby and operating currents of 1 µA and 1 mA, respectively. Devices with a capacity of 1 kilobit and above have page write capability. Functional address lines allow up to 8 devices to be connected to the same bus.
The 24CXX series from Microchip includes a range of electrically‑erasable serial EEPROMs with capacities from 128 bits up to 512 kilobits. All devices use a two‑wire I²C interface and support low‑voltage operation down to 1.8 V for the 24AAXX devices.
The family is offered in multiple lead‑free packages such as 8‑pin PDIP, SOIC, TSSOP, MSOP, 5‑pin SOT‑23 and DFN. Detailed electrical characteristics, pin descriptions and device‑selection tables are provided to aid designers in selecting the appropriate part for industrial, automotive or commercial applications. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Capacity range | 128 bits to 512 kilobits |
|---|---|
| Operating voltage (VCC) | 1.8 V – 5.5 V (typical), 6.5 V absolute max |
| Standby current | ≈ 1 µA |
| Write endurance | 1 000 000 write/erase cycles |
Up to eight devices can share the bus (two for certain MSOP packages).
The standby current is about 1 µA.
The devices support 100 kHz and 400 kHz; the 24FCXX variants also operate at 1 MHz.
