The TLP1016 and TLP1017 are photo‑interrupter devices that combine a GaAs infrared LED with a high‑gain silicon photodiode. They are intended for use in home electric equipment, office equipment, vending machines and other automatic service equipment where position detection is required.
The handbook provides maximum ratings, recommended operating conditions, opto‑electrical characteristics, propagation delay times, and mechanical positioning information, along with precautions for soldering, cleaning and handling of the polycarbonate package.
| Supply Voltage (Vcc) | 4.5 V – 17 V |
|---|---|
| Forward Current (If) | 50 mA |
| Reverse Voltage (Vr) | 5 V |
| Power Dissipation (Pd) | 250 mW |
| Operating Temperature Range | -25 °C – 85 °C |
| Peak Emission Wavelength | 940 nm |
The recommended supply voltage is between 4.5 V and 17 V.
The maximum forward current is 50 mA.
Soldering should be performed after lead forming, and the soldered surface should be cleaned only with chemicals that do not affect the polycarbonate package.
