This document describes the features and characteristics of the LW W5JM Golden DRAGON® with Lens Enhanced Optical Power LED (ThinGaN®), including high luminous efficiency, small dimensions, white light source, 5600K color temperature, and 80 color reproduction index.
The LW W5JM is a ThinGaN® LED with a white SMD package and clear silicone resin. It delivers high luminous efficiency (55 lm/W) and a typical color temperature of 5600 K with a CRI of 80. The device is RoHS‑compliant and lead‑free, suitable for portable lighting, signal and symbol luminaries, street and tunnel lighting, and backlighting applications.
The datasheet provides detailed electrical limits (forward current up to 400 mA, surge current 2000 mA, forward voltage up to 3.8 V), thermal characteristics (junction temperature 125 °C, thermal resistance 11 K/W), and mechanical data such as operating temperature range –40 °C to +85 °C.
