About this manual

The har‑bus 64 series is a 5‑row, 160‑pin Eurocard connector designed for VMEbus systems. It provides backward compatibility with legacy 3‑row, 96‑pin connectors, allowing existing boards to be used without redesign and supporting live insertion of cards.

Technical characteristics include a contact spacing of 2.54 mm, a working current of 1 A at 70 °C, a test voltage of 1 kV rms, and insertion/withdrawal forces up to 180 N. The connectors are made from liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a UL 94‑V0 flammability rating and feature optional switching elements for automatic daisy‑chaining.
