About this manual

The ADL5571 is a GaAs HBT power amplifier designed for Wi‑MAX mobile terminals and CPEs operating from 2.5 GHz to 2.7 GHz. It delivers up to 27 dBm output power with an EVM of less than 3 % for 16‑QAM OFDMA signals, and provides a typical gain of 29 dB. The device includes standby and sleep modes that reduce quiescent current to 9 mA and less than 1 pA respectively, helping to conserve battery life in TDD applications.

The amplifier is supplied in a 4 mm × 4 mm 16‑lead LFCSP package, operates over a supply range of 3.2 V to 5 V, and is rated for an operating temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C. Absolute maximum ratings include a VSWR survivability of 10:1 and a maximum storage temperature of –65 °C to +150 °C. Pin configuration, functional block diagram, and typical performance curves are provided for design integration.
