This document describes the features and characteristics of the AD8146/AD8147/AD8148 wideband video triple differential drivers, including high-speed fully differential drivers, bandwidth, slew rate, gain, input-output configuration, output balance error, low power consumption, etc.
The AD8146, AD8147, and AD8148 are high‑speed triple differential drivers designed for wide‑band video transmission and other high‑speed analog signals. They offer fixed gains (2 × for AD8146/AD8147, 4 × for AD8148), selectable output common‑mode voltage, and sync‑on‑common‑mode encoding for video sync signals. The devices are supplied in a 24‑lead LFCSP package and operate over a wide supply range.
Typical applications include QXGA or 1080p video transmission, KVM networking, and video over unshielded twisted‑pair (UTP) cabling. The datasheet details electrical specifications, absolute maximum ratings, thermal resistance, pin functions, and layout recommendations for optimal performance.
| Supply Voltage Range | +4.5 V to +15.5 V |
|---|---|
| Quiescent Current (Positive Supply) | 58 mA (AD8146) / 61.5 mA (AD8147) / 62.5 mA (AD8148) |
| Package | 24‑lead LFCSP (4 mm × 4 mm) |
The devices operate over a supply voltage range of +4.5 V to +15.5 V.
The AD8146/AD8147/AD8148 contain three high‑speed differential drivers.
