The AD8274 is a very low distortion, precision difference amplifier that drives 600 Ω loads. Its features include: 0.00025% THD + N (20 kHz), 0.0015% THD + N (100 kHz), 0.03% maximum gain error, 2 ppm/°C maximum gain drift, ½ or 2 gain, 20 V/μs minimum slew rate, 800 ns to 0.01% settling time, 83 dB minimum CMRR, 700 μV maximum offset voltage, 8-lead SOIC and MSOP packages, 2.6 mA maximum supply current and ±2.5 V to ±18 V supply range.
The AD8274 is a difference amplifier offering excellent AC and DC performance, including THD as low as 0.00025 % at a gain of ½ and the ability to drive 600 Ω loads. It operates from ±2.5 V to ±18 V, consumes only 2.6 mA per amplifier, and is RoHS‑compliant.
The datasheet provides detailed specifications such as gain error (0.03 %), gain drift (0.5‑2 ppm/°C), CMRR (≥83 dB), and recommended wiring practices (output resistor ≥20 Ω). Pin configurations, typical performance curves, and ordering information are also included.
| Supply range | ±2.5 V to ±18 V |
|---|---|
| Gain error | 0.03 % |
| Supply current (per amplifier) | 2.6 mA max |
The device can be powered with supply voltages up to ±18 V.
A series resistor of 20 Ω or higher is recommended to prevent peaking or instability.
