About this manual

The AD5222 provides a dual‑channel, 128‑position digitally controlled variable‑resistor (VR) that functions like a mechanical potentiometer but can be operated with push‑button or digital control signals. It supports both rheostat and potentiometer divider modes, selectable via the MODE pin, and offers low power consumption with single‑ or dual‑supply operation.

The document includes full electrical specifications, absolute maximum ratings, pin descriptions, ordering information, timing diagrams, programming details, and mechanical dimensions. Test circuits and performance graphs illustrate linearity, temperature coefficients, and supply current behavior across the available resistance ranges.
