About this manual

The AD5306/AD5316/AD5326 family are quad buffered voltage‑output DACs available in 8‑, 10‑ and 12‑bit resolutions. They operate from a single 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply and use a 2‑wire I²C‑compatible serial interface that supports up to 400 kHz clock rates. Each channel has an independent reference input that can be buffered or unbuffered, and all outputs can be updated simultaneously via the LDAC pin.

The handbook provides full electrical specifications, timing diagrams, absolute maximum ratings, pin descriptions, and example circuits for window detection, coarse/fine adjustment, and other typical applications. Power‑down mode reduces current consumption to sub‑µA levels, making the devices suitable for battery‑powered instruments and industrial process control.
