About this manual

The AD5541 and AD5542 are single‑channel, 16‑bit, voltage‑output digital‑to‑analog converters from Analog Devices that operate from a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V supply. They provide unbuffered outputs, low power dissipation (0.625 mW) and a 1 µs settling time.

The devices support SPI, QSPI and Microwire interfaces, can drive 60 kΩ loads directly, and feature low noise (11.8 nV/√Hz) and a glitch impulse of 1.1 nV·s. Typical applications include digital gain/offset adjustment, test equipment, data acquisition and industrial process control.
