About this manual

The ADV7390 family (including ADV7391‑ADV7393) are low‑power, chip‑scale 10‑bit video encoders that support SD, ED and HD video formats with multiple output standards such as CVBS, S‑Video and component YPrPb/RGB. Designed for portable and power‑sensitive applications, they include cable detection and DAC autopower‑down to minimize consumption.

Key specifications include a supply voltage range of 1.71‑1.89 V, a maximum DAC output current of 37 mA, and operation over –40 °C to +85 °C (up to +105 °C for automotive grades). The device supports a wide range of video standards (NTSC, PAL, SMPTE 274M/296M/240M) and offers programmable features such as filter responses, CGMS, and test‑pattern generation.
