The AD7625 is a 16-bit, 6 MSPS, PulSAR differential ADC that provides high dynamic range for high-resolution telecommunications, receivers, digital imaging systems, high-speed data acquisition, spectrum analysis and test equipment.
The AD7625 is a 16‑bit, 6 MSPS charge‑redistribution successive‑approximation register (SAR) analog‑to‑digital converter. It offers a differential input range of ±4.096 V, a 93 dB signal‑to‑noise ratio, and no missing codes, making it suitable for high‑speed data acquisition, telecommunications, and test equipment.
The device is supplied in a 32‑lead LFCSP package (5 mm × 5 mm) and operates from –40 °C to +85 °C. Data are output over a serial LVDS interface in either self‑clocked or echoed‑clock mode, simplifying board layout. Power dissipation is low (≈135 mW) and the part includes internal reference options (1.2 V or 4.096 V).
