EM83702 Mouse Controller is specially designed to control mouse device. It can be directly interfaced to RS-232C and does not need any external power supply. It is versatile with both microsoft and mouse system.
The EM83702 is an all‑in‑one mouse controller designed to interface three key‑switches and four photo‑couples directly to an RS‑232C port without an external power supply. It supports both Microsoft and mouse system modes, provides built‑in debounce circuitry, and can operate from a 32.768 kHz crystal or a 3.58 MHz resonator.
The datasheet lists absolute maximum ratings, DC and AC electrical characteristics, pin functions, timing diagrams, and typical application configurations such as optical, mechanical, and optomechanical mice or track balls.
