BAT54, A, C, S ® is a small signal Schottky diode produced by Texas Instruments. It features very small conduction losses, negligible switching losses and low forward voltage drop. It is packaged in a SOT-23 small SMD package and is available in double diodes with different pin configurations.
The BAT54 family consists of ultra‑small SOT‑23 surface‑mount Schottky diodes offering very low forward voltage drop and negligible switching losses. Variants BAT54A, BAT54C and BAT54S share the same package but differ in voltage rating and leakage characteristics.
The document lists absolute ratings such as a 30 V repetitive reverse voltage, 0.3 A continuous forward current, and 250 mW power dissipation, as well as thermal resistance, static and dynamic electrical characteristics, and detailed mechanical dimensions for the SOT‑23 package.
| Repetitive peak reverse voltage | 30 V |
|---|---|
| Continuous forward current | 0.3 A |
| Power dissipation (Tj = 25 °C) | 250 mW |
| Maximum storage temperature range | -65 °C to +150 °C |
| Maximum operating junction temperature | 150 °C |
| Maximum soldering temperature (10 s) | 260 °C |
| Junction‑to‑ambient thermal resistance | 500 °C/W |
| Forward voltage drop at 10 mA | 0.4 V |
| Reverse leakage current (Vf = 30 V, 25 °C) | 1 µA |
The BAT54 diode can withstand a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 30 V.
It is rated for a continuous forward current of 0.3 A.
The maximum temperature for soldering the BAT54 for 10 seconds is 260 °C.
The BAT54 diodes are supplied in a surface‑mount SOT‑23 package.
