This document describes a dual Schottky rectifier suitable for switch mode power supply and high frequency DC to DC converters. The product has very small conduction losses, negligible switching losses, extremely fast switching, low forward voltage drop for higher efficiency, low thermal resistance, and avalanche capability.
The STPS3030CT/CG/CR series are dual Schottky rectifiers designed for low‑drop power applications such as switch‑mode power supplies and high‑frequency DC‑DC converters. They are offered in TO‑220AB, D²PAK and 2PAK packages and feature very small conduction and switching losses, low forward voltage drop, low thermal resistance, and avalanche capability.
Key electrical ratings include a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 30 V, an average forward current of 15 A per diode (30 A per device), and a maximum junction temperature of 150 °C. Mechanical data for each package type are provided, along with recommended mounting torque values and ordering information.
| Repetitive peak reverse voltage (Vrrm) | 30 V |
|---|---|
| Average forward current per diode (IF(av)) | 15 A |
| Maximum forward voltage drop (Vr) | 0.42 V |
| Maximum junction temperature (Tj) | 150 °C |
| RMS forward current (I_F RMS) | 30 A |
| Recommended mounting torque | 0.55 N·m |
The device is rated for a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 30 V.
