The Allegro® A1101-A1106 Hall-effect switches are next generation replacements for the popular Allegro 312x and 314x lines of unipolar switches.
The Allegro A1101‑A1106 family are Hall‑effect continuous‑time switches that integrate a voltage regulator, Hall‑voltage generator, small‑signal amplifier, Schmitt trigger and NMOS output transistor on a single silicon chip. They operate from 3.8 V to 24 V and provide fast power‑on times, low noise, and robust protection for automotive and industrial motor‑commutation applications.
The devices are offered in ultra‑small 3‑pin SOT23W (LH) and 3‑pin SIP (UA) packages, both lead‑free with matte‑tin plated leadframes. Detailed electrical, magnetic, and thermal characteristics are provided, along with a selection guide, absolute maximum ratings, and application notes.
| Supply Voltage Range | 3.8 V – 24 V |
|---|---|
| Maximum Output Current | 25 mA |
| Reverse Supply Voltage | -30 V |
| Power‑On Time | 4 µs (typ.) |
| Package Types | 3‑pin SOT23W (LH) and 3‑pin SIP (UA) |
Each switch can sink up to 25 mA.
They are offered in a 3‑pin SOT23W (LH) surface‑mount package and a 3‑pin SIP (UA) through‑hole package.
