The MAX13181E‑MAX13184E family are +5 V, +15 kV ESD‑protected RS‑485 transceivers offered in tiny 10‑pin UDFN and 14‑pin SO packages. They support selectable half‑ or full‑duplex operation and include integrated pull‑up/pull‑down resistors, low‑current shutdown mode, and extended ESD protection.

These devices operate over a temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C and provide data rates up to 250 kbps for the MAX13181E/MAX13182E variants and up to 16 Mbps for the MAX13183E/MAX13184E variants.
