About this manual

The MAX6100–MAX6107 family are series‑mode voltage reference ICs that combine low cost, ultra‑low quiescent current (≈90 µA) and low dropout voltage in a tiny 3‑pin SOT23 package. They provide a range of fixed output voltages (1.25 V to 5 V) and can source up to 5 mA while sinking 2 mA.

These devices are designed for battery‑operated, space‑critical applications such as portable computers, PDAs, cellular phones and hard‑disk drives. They require no external output capacitor, are stable with capacitive loads, and feature a low temperature coefficient of 75 ppm/°C.
