The SM5835AF is a two‑dimensional digital image filter IC designed for non‑interlaced 8‑bit video images. It processes a 33‑pixel segment at video data rates and includes internal ROM‑stored coefficients for averaging, Laplacian and other filter types, allowing any frame size without external memory.
Key features include a 3 × 3‑pixel filter, video signal rates up to 14.5 MHz, 8‑bit input, 12‑bit output, variable line‑delay length (14‑1037 pixels), independent gain settings, overflow detection, TTL‑compatible I/O, and a single 5 V supply in a 64‑pin QFP package.
