About this manual

The SM5009 series are crystal oscillator module ICs designed to reduce crystal current below existing products by incorporating a low crystal current type oscillating circuit. The integrated oscillating circuit includes oscillator capacitors with excellent frequency response and a feedback resistor, allowing for stable fundamental oscillation up to 40MHz simply by connecting the crystal.

These devices are ideal for SMD type crystal oscillators using strip-shaped crystal blanks. They support both CMOS and TTL output levels and offer various operating voltage ranges (2.7V to 5.5V) with optional standby functions to stop or inhibit the oscillator.
