DATEC-CONTROL is a series of enclosures launched by OKW. It has four models: XS, S, M, and L. It can be installed with standard LCDs, and the protection class is IP65/54. It is suitable for mobile data collection and transmission, measurement and control technology, and digital control technology applications.
The DATEC-CONTROL range offers round‑form enclosures designed for larger LCD displays with graphic capability. The housings are ergonomically shaped for easy handling, feature a small hand‑grip area and include adhesive foil for simple assembly. Optional battery compartments allow operation from AA cells or a 9 V flat battery, and a PCMCIA slot is provided for added functionality.
Protection classes up to IP 65 are achievable with a sealing kit and adhesive foil for the XS and S versions, while the M and L versions reach IP 54. The enclosures are made from ABS (UL 94 HB) and are available in off‑white or black finishes. Detailed dimensions for each size (XS, M, L) are listed, along with part numbers for accessories such as battery clips, contacts and display windows.

With the sealing kit and adhesive foil, the XS and S versions reach IP 65, while the M and L versions achieve IP 54.
The maximum PCB size for the XS version is 190 mm × 46 mm (base part) and 150 mm × 47 mm (top part).
