The FAN5610 is a LED driver chip produced by Fairchild Semiconductor. The chip has a function of driving 4 parallel-connected LEDs, supporting low VF LED low voltage direct lithium-ion battery applications. Each LED has an independent control loop and can provide regulated, matched constant current. The chip has no external components, no EMI and switching noise, and an integrated DAC for digital and PWM brightness control. The maximum efficiency can reach 91%, the maximum bias current can reach 84mA (21mA/LED), the input voltage range is 2.7V to 5.5V, and the shutdown mode current is less than 1µA. The package is 3mmX3mm MLP-8.
