SLLS418I is a 1394 interface chip produced by TI, supports 1394a-2000 standard, supports connecting multiple devices, and has automatic power-off and low power consumption.
The TSB41AB3 provides the digital and analog transceiver functions required to implement a three‑port node in an IEEE 1394 network. Each port supports 100, 200 or 400 Mbps data rates and includes differential line transceivers, bias‑voltage monitoring, and optional isolation for use with a line‑layer controller.
The device features low‑power operation via a PD terminal that disables the PLL, ultralow‑power sleep mode when all ports are inactive, and a 1.86‑V bias voltage for cable termination. Pin assignments, functional block diagrams, and terminal functions are detailed for board integration.
| External crystal frequency | 24.576 MHz |
|---|---|
| Internal PLL output frequency | 393.216 MHz |
| Supply voltage | 3.3 V (single supply operation) |
| Bias voltage at TPBIAS | 1.86 V |
It requires a 24.576 MHz crystal (or an external clock) as the reference.
