The CUB5 is a modular counter with optional relay output modules and serial communication modules. The counter has an 8-digit LCD display that can display values and units, and it is available in a reflective or backlight version with variable display intensity. The counter can be programmed as a single counter or dual counter, and it has a rate indication function. The counter can be programmed for 8 different counting modes, including bidirectional and quadrature counting modes. When programmed as a dual counter, each counter has a separate scale factor and decimal point. In the counter/rate indicator mode, each counter has its own scale factor and decimal point readings in different engineering units. The counter has two independent inputs, and the function of the counter depends on the polarity and frequency of the input signal.
