About this manual

The AME8500 family provides a processor supervisory function that lets users customize reset voltage thresholds, reset time intervals, and output driver configurations without external components. The AME8501 adds an over‑temperature shutdown that asserts a reset when ambient temperature exceeds 80 °C and releases it below 60 °C.

Available in small SOT‑23, SOT‑89 and SOT‑25 packages, the devices feature low quiescent current (<3 µA) and operate over a wide temperature range (‑40 °C to +85 °C). Detailed ordering information, pin configurations, and absolute maximum ratings are provided for designers.
