About this manual

The AD8306 is a complete IF limiting‑logarithmic amplifier that provides accurate decibel measurement (RSSI) over a 100 dB dynamic range. It operates from 5 MHz to 400 MHz and can be powered by a single supply of +2.7 V to +6.5 V, drawing about 16 mA quiescent current.

The device features fully differential inputs, programmable limiter gain, and differential outputs up to 2.34 V. It is fabricated in a 16‑lead narrow‑body SO package for industrial temperature range (‑40 °C to +85 °C) and a side‑brazed ceramic DIP for military range (‑55 °C to +125 °C).
