ADG901/ADG902 are wideband switches that use a CMOS process to provide high isolation and low insertion loss to 1 GHz. The ADG901 is an absorptive switch and the ADG902 is a reflective switch.
The ADG901 and ADG902 are wideband SPST switches fabricated in a CMOS process. The ADG901 is an absorptive (matched) switch with 50 Ω terminated shunt legs, while the ADG902 is a reflective switch. Both devices provide high isolation (up to 40 dB at 1 GHz) and low insertion loss (≈0.8 dB at 1 GHz) across a DC‑to‑1 GHz frequency range and include on‑board CMOS/LVTTL control logic.
The datasheet includes specifications, absolute maximum ratings, pin descriptions, typical performance graphs, terminology, test circuits, application notes, and an ordering guide for the available MSOP and LFCSP package options.
| Operating Frequency | DC to 4.5 GHz |
|---|---|
| Isolation (1 GHz) | 40 dB |
| Insertion Loss (1 GHz) | 0.8 dB |
| Supply Voltage (VDD) | 1.65 V to 2.75 V |
| Quiescent Power Supply Current | < 1 µA |
| Temperature Range (Industrial) | −40 °C to +85 °C |
| Package Options | 8‑lead MSOP (RM‑8) and 8‑lead 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP (CP‑8) |
The ADG901 offers 40 dB of off‑state isolation at 1 GHz.
Both devices operate from a VDD of 1.65 V to 2.75 V.
The switches consume less than 1 µA of supply current.
They are offered in an 8‑lead MSOP (RM‑8) and an 8‑lead 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP (CP‑8) package.
