About this manual

The ADG5236 is a monolithic CMOS device that provides two independently selectable single‑pole/double‑throw (SPDT) switches. An EN input disables the device, turning both switches off. Each switch conducts symmetrically in both directions and blocks signals up to the supply voltage when off, offering break‑before‑make action for multiplexing applications.

Its ultralow capacitance (2.5 pF source, 12 pF drain) and charge injection (‑0.6 pC typical) make it suitable for data‑acquisition, sample‑and‑hold, and video‑signal switching. The part supports dual‑supply operation up to +22 V and single‑supply operation up to 40 V, with 3 V logic‑compatible digital inputs.
