About this manual

The AD9517-1 provides a multi‑output clock distribution solution with sub‑picosecond jitter, an on‑chip PLL and VCO that tunes from 2.30 GHz to 2.65 GHz. It supports an external VCO/VCXO up to 2.4 GHz and offers programmable delays, reference monitoring, and automatic synchronization of all outputs on power‑up.

Four LVPECL outputs (two pairs) operate up to 1.6 GHz, two LVDS pairs up to 800 MHz, and eight CMOS outputs (two per LVDS pair) up to 250 MHz. The device runs from a single 3.3 V supply, can operate over –40 °C to +85 °C, and includes a serial control port for configuration.
