This document describes the features and characteristics of the 24AA1025/24LC1025/24FC1025 series products from Microchip Technology Inc. These products are 128K x 8 (1024K bit) Serial Electrically Erasable PROMs, capable of operating across a broad voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V. They feature low power consumption, a 2-wire serial interface, cascading up to four devices, and more.
The 24AA1025/24LC1025/24FC1025 family are 128‑Kbit (1024‑Kbit) CMOS serial EEPROM devices offering low‑power operation across a wide voltage range. They support both byte‑write and page‑write operations, up to 128‑byte pages, and can be cascaded up to four devices for up to 4 Mbit total memory.
Key features include single‑supply operation down to 1.7 V (24AA), 2.5 V (24LC/FC), standby current of 100 nA, read current of 1 mA, Schmitt‑trigger inputs, hardware write‑protect, ESD protection >400 V, and data retention of over 200 years. The devices are supplied in 8‑lead PDIP and SOIC packages and meet industrial (‑40 °C to +85 °C) and automotive (‑40 °C to +125 °C) temperature specifications.
