About this manual

The SST39VF family provides 16 Mbit, 32 Mbit and 64 Mbit x16 Multi-Purpose Flash Plus (MPF+) memories with a single‑voltage 2.7‑3.6 V operation. Features include high endurance (100 k cycles typical), long data retention (>100 years), low active current (9 mA typical) and an Auto Low Power mode (3 pA typical).

The datasheet describes command sequences for read, word‑program, sector‑erase, block‑erase, chip‑erase, erase‑suspend/resume, and status detection using Data# polling or toggle bits. It also details hardware block protection, write‑protect pin, reset pin, pin assignments for TSOP and TFBGA packages, and the 256‑bit Security ID architecture.
