The VIPer12A is a low power offline SMPS primary switcher that combines a dedicated current mode PWM controller with a high voltage Power MOSFET. It has a fixed 60kHz switching frequency, a wide range of 9V to 38V VDD voltage, current mode control, auxiliary undervoltage lockout with hysteresis, high voltage start up current source, and overtemperature, overcurrent, and overvoltage protection with autorestart. It is suitable for applications such as battery charger adapters, standby power supplies for TV or monitors, and auxiliary supplies for motor control.
