About this manual

The AD7824 (4‑channel) and AD7828 (8‑channel) are high‑speed, multichannel 8‑bit analog‑to‑digital converters. They use a half‑flash conversion technique that provides a conversion time of about 2 µs per channel and include a built‑in track‑and‑hold function capable of handling signals up to 10 kHz.

The devices operate from a single 5 V supply, consume low power (≈50 mW typ), and offer a full‑scale input range of 0 V to 5 V (unipolar) or ±4 V (bipolar). Detailed specifications, timing diagrams, pin configurations, and performance curves are provided in the document.
