The MAX3224E‑MAX3227E and MAX3244E‑MAX3245E families are 3 V‑powered RS‑232 transceivers with +15 kV ESD protection, AutoShutdown Plus low‑power shutdown, and optional MegaBaud operation. They provide true RS‑232 voltage levels from a 3.0 V to 5.5 V supply using a dual charge‑pump that requires only four 0.1 pF capacitors.
