Low power single supply ground-sensing comparator LT1671
The LT1671 is a low‑power, 60 ns comparator with complementary TTL/CMOS outputs and an internal latch. It operates from a single 5 V supply or dual +5 V supplies and features a wide input common‑mode range that extends to the negative rail. The device is pin‑compatible with LT1394, LT1016 and LT1116 and is available in 8‑lead MSOP and SO packages.
The datasheet provides detailed electrical characteristics, typical performance curves, pin functions, package dimensions and example application circuits such as zero‑crossing detectors and adaptive triggers. Design notes cover common‑mode considerations, bypassing, layout guidelines and level‑shifting techniques.
| Low Power Consumption | 450 µA |
|---|---|
| Typical Propagation Delay (20 mV overdrive) | 60 ns |
| Input Offset Voltage | 0.8 mV |
| Continuous Output Current | 20 mA |
| Supply Voltage Options | Single 5 V or dual +5 V |
| Package Types | 8‑Lead MSOP and 8‑Lead SO |
The typical propagation delay is 60 ns with a 20 mV overdrive.
The LATCH pin holds the output state when driven high, providing a latch that retains data until the pin is de‑asserted.
The input offset voltage is specified as 0.8 mV.
The device is offered in 8‑lead MSOP and 8‑lead Small Outline (SO) packages.
