Temflex 1500 Vinyl Electrical Tape is a high quality PVC insulating tape with good resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalis, acid and varying weather conditions (including sunlight).
Temflex 1500 is a general‑purpose PVC insulating tape offered by 3M in a wide range of colors for indoor and outdoor electrical insulation, wire harnessing, and cable repairs. It is classified under IEC 60454‑3‑1‑5/F‑PVCP/90 and carries VDE Marks Licence.
The sheet lists typical physical properties such as thickness, dielectric strength, and temperature rating, and gives installation advice – half‑lapped layers with tension, reducing the tape width to about 5/8 of its original size, and a final wrap applied without tension to avoid flagging.

The tape is offered in black, blue, brown, yellow, yellow/green, grey, orange, red, white, purple and green.
The tape is rated for use up to 90 °C.
