3M™ 9713 is an isotropic conductive pressure sensitive adhesive film that conducts electricity through the thickness (Z-axis) and in the plane of the adhesive (X, Y-axis). It is ideal for EMI/RFI shielding and attaching EMI/RFI seals to metal surfaces. Consists of a high-performance 3M adhesive with conductive fibers. 3M™ 9713 has good adhesive strength and good electrical performance. In addition, the conductive fibers in the 3M™ 9713 adhesive film provide improved handling properties. The electrically conductive adhesive film 3M™ 9713 is ideal for applying EMI shielding to electronic and electrical devices. 3M™ 9713 can be used with many metal foil shields such as aluminum/PVC or copper/PVC laminates for a custom shielding solution. It can also be used to attach conductive textile/foam core EMI seals to electrical housings. It can be applied in strips or die-cut parts in special shapes and sizes. Compared to screws or other mechanical connections, 3M™ 9713 requires less assembly time and allows a stable and seamless joint that ensures 100% shielding. 3M manufacturing plant is ISO 9002 certified.

It combines a high‑performance 3M acrylic adhesive with conductive fibers, providing good initial and final tack as well as low electrical resistance, making it ideal for EMI/RFI shielding on metal surfaces.
The film can be supplied in rolls or pre‑cut strips, and it adheres best when substrates are clean, dry, and optionally lightly abraded. Recommended application temperatures are 15 °C to 38 °C; below 10 °C the film may be too stiff. The adhesive can be removed by rubbing with fingers, applying 3M packaging tape, or heating to 70‑100 °C, and it is compatible with aluminum, copper, and stainless‑steel laminates.
