About this manual

The Teridian 71M6533 and 71M6534 are third‑generation polyphase metering system‑on‑chips that integrate an analog front end, a 32‑bit computation engine, an 8051‑compatible MPU, flash, RAM, RTC, LCD driver and multiple I/O interfaces. They support a wide range of metering applications with very few external components and meet ANSI and IEC electricity metering standards.

Key features include <0.1 % Wh accuracy over a 2000:1 range, seven sensor inputs with neutral current measurement, low‑power sleep modes, SPI and I²C EEPROM interfaces, and configurable LCD drivers. The devices are offered in 100‑pin (71M6533/G/H) and 120‑pin (71M6534/H) LQFP packages for industrial temperature ranges.
