The MAX5290–MAX5295 dual, 12-/10-/8-bit, voltage- output digital-to-analog converters (DACs) offer buffered outputs and a 3µs maximum settling time at the 12-bit level.
The MAX5290‑MAX5295 family are dual, 12‑/10‑/8‑bit voltage‑output DACs with buffered outputs and a fast 3 µs maximum settling time at 12‑bit resolution. They operate from a 2.7 V to 5.25 V analog supply and a separate 1.8 V to AVDD digital supply, and support a 20 MHz 3‑wire serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, MICROWIRE and DSP protocols.
The devices are offered in compact 4 mm × 4 mm 16‑pin thin QFN and 6.5 mm × 5 mm 14‑pin or 16‑pin TSSOP packages, with two programmable digital I/O ports and selectable unity‑gain or force‑sense output buffers. They are specified for –40 °C to +85 °C operation and include detailed electrical, timing and package information.
