3M's test and burn-in SOIC sockets have UL 94V-0 flame retardancy, rated current is 1A, insulation resistance is >1×1012W, rated operating temperature is -55°C to +150°C
The 3M 34 Test & Burn-In SOIC Sockets are designed for burn‑in testing of JEDEC‑compliant SOIC devices. They feature a glass‑filled polyethersulfone insulation, UL 94V‑0 flammability, black color, and beryllium‑copper contacts with gold over nickel plating. Electrical ratings include a 1 A current rating, >1×10¹² Ω insulation resistance at 500 VDC, and a 1000 V rms withstanding voltage, operating from –55 °C to +150 °C.
Dimensions are provided for a range of body widths (.150" (3.81 mm) and .300" (7.62 mm)) and multiple part numbers. The lid can be actuated from the top or front, applies 80 g of normal force per lead, and supports automated loading. Ordering information and mechanical outlines are included for easy integration.
