About this manual

The LM1876 is a stereo audio power amplifier capable of delivering typically 20 W per channel into a 4 Ω or 8 Ω load with less than 0.1 % THD+N. Each channel includes smooth fade‑in/out mute and a power‑saving standby mode that can be controlled by external logic.

The device features SPiKe™ protection that safeguards against over‑voltage, under‑voltage, overload, thermal runaway and instantaneous temperature peaks, and is offered in isolated and non‑isolated 15‑lead TO‑220 packages.
